New River Valley Housing Partnership

Purpose
The Balance of State Local Planning Group (Planning District 4)—the New River Valley Housing Partnership—was founded in 1997. One of the primary purposes of this Partnership is to ensure that all regional housing providers are working in collaboration with one another. This is accomplished by holding a monthly interagency meeting. The Partnership requires 75 percent participation to earn Active Member status.
