Welcome to the New River Valley Housing Partnership web page. Our purpose is to assist in the coordination, development, and evaluation of services and housing for homeless and at-risk of homeless persons, including victims of domestic violence, with housing needs through planning, education and advocacy.  It is a collaborative and inclusive community-based organization for planning and managing homeless assistance resources and services effectively and efficiently to end homelessness in the New River Valley of Virginia.

Fleeing domestic violence?
The WRC remains committed to serving those in the NRV who have experienced sexual or domestic violence, even during a pandemic.
                  Our 24/7/365 hotline remains available. (540-639-1123)
 ​ Our Emergency Shelter remains open for people fleeing domestic or sexual violence in the     New River Valley. If you have questions or would like more information, please call our hotline.

The New River Valley Housing Partnership with the Radford City Rental Assistance has developed a process to administer eight Emergency Housing Vouchers to target individuals and families that fall into one of the four following categories:
    1. Experiencing homelessness
    2. At risk of experiencing homeless
    3. Fleeing, or attempting to flee domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, stalking, or human trafficking
    4. Recently homeless
